From the middle of the Second Sino-Japanese War until the end of the Great War, the main fighter aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy was the zero-ship fighter aircraft (commonly referred to as "zero-fight" or "zero-fight") which dominated the world's top fighter aircraft with its long range, heavy armament, excellent maneuverability, and thorough pursuit of air power refinement and light weighting. In particular, it was the first full-scale mass-producing zero-fighting aircraft to support the Pearl Harbor attack and the subsequent advance of the Pacific War, which became the turning point of the American-British War.
