■Product Description
The Zero Fighter Type 32 had its engine replaced from the previous "Sakae 12" to the "Sakae 21" with a two-speed supercharger. This resulted in a completely redesigned cowling shape and a significant improvement in both maximum speed and climb rate.
Furthermore, it featured a new wing planform with the wingtips shortened by 50 cm into a square shape to improve maneuverability. This change drastically altered the aircraft's silhouette, and immediately after its deployment in combat, it stood out so much that the Allied forces mistook it for a "new type of aircraft."
In this product, the fuselage, wings, engine, and propeller are molded in gray, the cowling and landing gear in black, and the interior of the aircraft in yellow-green, creating a three-color scheme. The markings include decals for the aircraft flown by ace Kiyoshi Ito, who was active in Guadalcanal/New Guinea and shot down 30 aircraft, as well as aircraft belonging to the aircraft carrier Zuikaku's air squadron, and the aircraft of ace Matsuo Hagiri, known as "Winged Hagiri."
