■Product Description
Following the highly acclaimed 1/48 scale "Zero Fighter" from users both domestically and internationally, we will be releasing a series of Zero Fighter kits in 1/72 scale. The first release is an early production type of the Mitsubishi Type 52, which, following the Type 22, features a manifold exhaust pipe on the underside of the cowling. The product is molded in different colors on each sprue: the fuselage and wings are green, the cowling and landing gear are black, and the engine and propeller are gray.
In addition to the aircraft of the 253rd Naval Air Group in Rabaul, which was flown by Japanese Navy ace Tetsuzo Iwamoto and is said to have had its rear fuselage covered in kill marks, markings for a total of three aircraft are included as water-slide decals: an aircraft of the 253rd Air Group in Rabaul, and an aircraft of the 252nd Air Group that was active in the Marshall Islands.
