■Product Description
FineMolds' Studio Ghibli series, which has previously modeled airplanes and robots that appeared in the films, now welcomes a new genre. Released as an assembly kit in collaboration with Kaiyodo, a pioneer and leading sculpting group in figure production, in order to vividly express the characters based on scenes from the films. The first release is from "Porco Rosso," which celebrates its 30th anniversary of theatrical release this year, depicting the opening scene of the film, where Porco Rosso receives a phone call at his hideout informing him of the arrival of air pirates. Contrary to his reluctant words about accepting the request, the scene shows him already prepared to sortie, which sparks the imagination about the magnificent flying scenes and exhilarating aerial combat scenes that follow. Enjoy the assembly model made from a prototype created with handmade sculpting and mold processing using digitalization.
