■ Description
Under the Washington Naval Disarmament Treaty, signed in 1922 by the five victorious nations of World War I, including Japan, Japan became a battleship.・The Navy, which was forced to revise its previous maritime defense plan, first expanded its destroyer fleet in order to increase the number of auxiliary vessels under the treaty, which were not restricted to light cruisers.・This destroyer, later known as the "special type", was delivered in 1928 and became a larger vessel than a conventional destroyer, but it's worth noting that it was heavily armed and highly navigable in comparison to its size, and the appearance of this ship is said to have shocked the troops.
