About the actual Type 61 modified tank
The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Type 61 tank was the first domestically produced tank developed 10 years after the end of World War II, and was officially adopted in April 1961.
560 units were manufactured by the time production ended in 1973, and along with the later developed Type 74 tank, it served as the main battle tank of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force for a long time.
From the 1980s, minor modifications were made to the turret area, and smoke grenade launchers called "hatsuhatsu" were also installed.
In addition, some vehicles, such as platoon commander vehicles, were equipped with infrared/white light searchlights.

★New molds for searchlights, smoke grenade launchers, lower turret, etc.
★Tracks are plastic and partially assembled.
★Details are reproduced based on meticulous research of the actual vehicle.
★Finished model: Overall length 234mm, overall width 85mm, height 133mm
★Optional: Night combat equipment included. The rear of the turret without night combat equipment is also reproduced.
★Four types of markings are included, including vehicles belonging to various tank battalions.
★Number of parts: 359 + decals
