About the actual Type 97 Medium Tank [Chi-Ha] with 57mm gun and new chassis
From the start of production in 1938 until the end of the war, the Type 97 Medium Tank "Chi-Ha" was the core tank of the Japanese tank forces.
It was equipped with a 57mm tank gun suitable for infantry support, etc., and an air-cooled diesel engine that was easy to operate even in cold regions.
From the later stages of production, the engine heat dissipation area on the rear side of the chassis was changed to be covered with armor, and a considerable number were produced.
Kit Features
★Re-release of the regular Type 97 Medium Tank [Chi-Ha] with 57mm gun.
★Includes the popular assembly type tracks (belt type tracks are not included).
★The tracks are made of plastic and are glue-assembly type that can realistically reproduce sag.
★The main gun also reproduces the breech.
★The exhaust pipe cover is made of photo-etched material with a high degree of reproduction.
★Includes a bonus 1.8L sake bottle (clear part).
★Finished product: total length 172mm, total width 67mm, approximately 260 parts
