The Mummy Man from the 1942 film "The Mummy's Graveyard" joins the Universal Monsters model kit series. The Mummy Man, Karis, is played by Lon Chaney Jr., a top star of horror films.
His likeness rights have been cleared through a licensing agreement with Chaney Entertainment. Not only the proportions and details, but also the eyes and mouth that make his performance shine have been delicately reproduced. Be sure to check it out. Prince Karis, who committed a crime and was mummified while still alive, rises up for revenge, and the decaying state of the bandages covering his entire body conveys the long 3,000 years he was imprisoned in the coffin. The pyramid interior, which was the setting for the beginning of the film, is also reproduced on the diorama base. The hieroglyphs on the wall and the fallen torch enhance the atmosphere.
