■Product Description
The Sd.Kfz.250 is a German light armored personnel carrier developed during World War II based on a 1-ton half-track to enhance the equipment of motorcycle battalions.
Production of the Sd.Kfz.250 began in 1941, but the armored hull of the early production model, designated A (or Alt: Old Model), had a complex design and poor productivity, so mass production of the B (or Neu: New Model) with a simplified armor plate configuration began in 1943.
The Sd.Kfz. 250/1 was the basic model capable of transporting four soldiers and was deployed to armored reconnaissance battalions of armored divisions and armored grenadier divisions.
