Introducing a new 1/72 scale An-12A/B kit from Sova-M of Ukraine. The kit allows you to choose between the A or B type during assembly. The kit includes two types of Aeroflot decals and painting mask stickers. When completed, the aircraft will be approximately 460mm in length and 528mm in wingspan. Please consider this opportunity.
The An-12 is a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft developed by the Antonov Design Bureau, and is a cargo transport version of the An-10 passenger aircraft also developed by the same design bureau. The prototype made its first flight in 1957 and entered service in 1959. 1,243 An-12s were manufactured before production ended in 1972. Of these, approximately 900 were produced for civilian use and were operated not only in the Soviet Union but also in socialist countries such as Eastern Europe and some Western countries.
