About the actual vehicle
The Leopard was a tank developed by Germany after World War II. In 1979, the Leopard 2 appeared as the third-generation and 3.5-generation main battle tank. While successive improvements were made, the Leopard 2A4 was produced from 1985 to 1987. It was equipped with a 44-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun as its main armament, and was also characterized by its design composed of flat surfaces due to the adoption of composite armor on the turret. It was equipped with a V-type 12-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. It boasted high mobility with a top speed of 72 km/h. It was deployed and operated by the German Army, and was also exported to various countries around the world, including Denmark, Poland, and Finland.
