■Product Description
The DUKW is an amphibious vehicle developed in the United States. The DUKW's engine and drive system are the same as those of the CCKW 353 truck, and it has a boat-shaped body with a 3-axle, 6-wheel undercarriage and a screw propeller at the rear of the body for water navigation. The DUKW played an active role in the Normandy landings and was also used on the Pacific front. The kit reproduces the type with a 105mm howitzer mounted on the cargo bed.
