■Product Description
The M4 medium tank is a 30-ton class medium tank developed and manufactured in the United States during World War II, boasting high mobility and firepower. The M4A1 is a type with a cast, one-piece upper hull that was put into combat from the Second Battle of El Alamein, and mass production began in February 1942, shortly after the United States entered the war. The M4A1 is equipped with the same air-cooled radial engine as the M4, and although the interior space is reduced compared to the M4 with its welded steel hull, the rounded hull shape provided good ballistic protection. The M4A1(76)W is a vehicle equipped with a T23 turret that mounts a 76mm gun, a larger driver's hatch, and a wet ammunition storage area, and was put into combat from Operation Cobra in July 1944.
