■Product Description
The Sindair C5, released in 1985 by Sinclair of the UK, is a single-seater electric tricycle that appeared as one of the world's first practical electric personal mobility devices. Equipped with a 250W motor, it has a top speed of approximately 24 km/h and can be said to be an EV that was ahead of its time with its groundbreaking concept. A special edition C5 was produced, sporting the black and gold colors of John Player Special (JPS), a sponsor of the F1 team Lotus, and was used in promotional events. In 1985, Ayrton Senna was photographed riding in a PS-colored C5, and it remains a valuable item that is still talked about among F1 fans today. Lotus Cars provided technical cooperation in the vehicle's development, and was also involved in the design and prototyping of the chassis and suspension. Although it is not a vehicle produced by the F1 team Lotus, it is a unique vehicle that symbolizes the motorsport culture of the 1980s, with the fusion of Lotus technology and JPS colors. This set is a special item that combines two JPS C5s, spare parts, a spare cowl for the 97T, and two figures.
