■Product Description
The D-1 is a full-scale experimental glider produced for aerodynamic performance testing during the development of the Tachikawa Aircraft Type 1 Twin-Engine Advanced Trainer. This aircraft was treated as a civilian aircraft, and its name was given by the Ministry of Communications' Aviation Bureau. It was manufactured by Nippon Aircraft Industry, and after development began in 1939, it made its maiden flight on June 21, 1943, contributing to the development of the Type 1 Twin-Engine Advanced Trainer. The airframe is made entirely of wood, with a crew of four, and a Type 90 Aircraft Training Aircraft served as the tow aircraft. The product includes resin parts, an injection-molded plastic canopy, and one type of marking.
