Planet Model, Special Hobby's resin kit brand, is pleased to announce the re-release of the 1/48 DH.94 Mossminer. The Mossminer is a two-seat monoplane sports/trainer aircraft designed and manufactured by the prestigious British aircraft manufacturer, de Havilland. The Mossminer, which made its first flight in 1937 as the successor to the biplane DH.60 Moss, was produced in a total of about 100 units by the outbreak of World War II, and more than 40 more were produced after production was moved to de Havilland Australia. Highly regarded for its high maneuverability and ease of handling, many Mossminers were requisitioned by the British and Australian armies during the war, and after the war, most of them became civilian aircraft as surplus military equipment, with several still in active service today. The kit we are offering includes resin parts, 3D printed parts, photo-etched parts, and five types of decals (US military, British military, Australian military, New Zealand military, and post-war civilian aircraft x 1 each). When completed, the total length will be 155mm and the total width will be approximately 233mm.
