The Serv 2000 is a 50/58 seat regional turboprop twin-engine aircraft developed by the Swedish company Serv after the success of the Commuter Serv 340. When it first flew in 1992, 63 aircraft were built until production ended in 1999. It was primarily operated in Europe, but in 1997 the Japanese Ministry of Transport (then the Ministry of Land Transport) and the Air Ministry also introduced two aircraft as flight detectors and operated them until 2019.
