■Product Description
Amoebas are a general term for single-celled protists that basically lack flagella or cilia and move using pseudopods.
This product is a re-release of a product previously released by Lindbergh.
The kit includes three types: amoeba, Euglena (Euglena gracilis), and Paramecium (Paramecium).
Each is based on scientific research and is three-dimensionally molded from transparent plastic at approximately 1000 times the size of the real thing.
A display stand and a leaflet explaining these are included on the back of the assembly instructions.
This is a science kit that you can learn by assembling.
・Amoeba: A general term for protists belonging to the order Amoeba, which are rhizopoda.
The body is single-celled and about 0.02 to 0.5 millimeters in size.
It has a transparent, gelatinous body and is characterized by constantly changing its body shape.
It moves and hunts by extending protoplasmic projections called pseudopods.
They live in swamps and ponds, and some species parasitize the human body.
They were formerly known by the Japanese name "amemushi."
Euglena (green worms) are spindle-shaped, single-celled organisms less than 0.1 mm in size.
They are commonly found in shallow, stagnant water such as rice paddies.
Paramecium is a type of ciliate protozoan that appears sandal-shaped under a microscope, and in a broad sense refers to species belonging to the genus Paramecium. Released by Atlantis Models Injection kit
