This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces Eurocopter's masterpiece helicopter, the AS332 Super Puma.
About the actual aircraft
The AS332 Super Puma is a large helicopter developed and produced by Aerospatiale of France. It is a general-purpose helicopter used for both civilian and military purposes, and is an improved version of the AS330, a medium-sized helicopter that made its first flight in 1965. It made its first flight in 1978. It is equipped with two Turbomeca Makira turboshaft engines. It has gained worldwide acclaim, being adopted by civilian airlines around the world as well as the militaries of more than 30 countries. It is also used by the Japan Coast Guard in Japan.
