■Product Description
The Achilles is a tank destroyer that was supplied to Britain from the United States under Lend-Lease during World War II, with the main gun of the M10 replaced by the Ordnance QF 17-pounder gun. The Achilles was first deployed in combat during the Normandy landings in June 1944, and was later deployed to British Commonwealth forces such as the Canadian and Polish armies, and saw action on the Western Front and the Italian Front until the end of the war. After the war, it was supplied to Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Egypt, etc. During the Second Arab-Israeli War, the Egyptian army used Achilles in its battles against the Israeli army, and some were captured by the Israeli army. The Canadian army also deployed a small number of Achilles during the Korean War. The kit includes a metal gun barrel and one full-body figure, and the tracks are articulated and the suspension is movable.
