■Product Description
The MiG-21 is a fighter aircraft developed by the Soviet MiG Design Bureau in the 1950s and exported/deployed to various countries around the world.
The MiG-21MF is an export model equipped with the R-13-300 engine and the Sapfir-22 (RP-22) radar, and made its first flight in 1970.
The MiG-21MF, which became the main export model, was produced at the MMZ plant from 1970 to 1974 and became the main aircraft of the Warsaw Pact countries.
After the end of the Cold War, many MiG-21MFs were retired, but in countries that did not operate the MiG-21bis, such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania, it continued to be operated for a long time until a successor aircraft was selected.
In other countries, after the deployment of the MiG-21bis, it was mainly used for fighter-bombing and reconnaissance.
