■Product Description
・You can choose to assemble either the early A-4M or the A-4M.
・Control surfaces, main wing/fuselage air brakes are separate parts.
・Inner parts of the leading edge slats are separate parts.
・The horizontal stabilizer is designed so that not only the elevator but the entire unit can be tilted forward and backward.
・Electronic parts inside the nose are reproduced, and the hatches on the sides of the nose can be opened or closed.
・Entry/exit rudder and FOD cover parts are included.
・By dividing the parts, you can reproduce the APU-less (early A-4M) and APU-equipped (A-4M) versions.
・LAU-10/A rocket pod, Mk81, Mk82 bombs, and drop tanks are included.
・Two types of decals (made by Cartograf) and photo-etched parts are included.
The A-4 Skyhawk is a carrier-based attack aircraft developed in the United States and operated by the US Navy and others. The A-4M was a variant developed for the U.S. Marine Corps, featuring a P&W J52-P-408A turbojet engine with a thrust of 5.08 tons, and an increased weapons payload of 4.15 tons. It also included an APU (Advanced Power Unit) and drag chute, as well as enhanced electronics. Its appearance differed significantly from previous models due to a larger canopy for improved visibility and enlarged air intakes. 158 units were manufactured.
