■Product Description
The M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle is an infantry fighting vehicle developed in the United States. The M2A2 was adopted in 1988 and featured improved engine output, suspension, improved ammunition storage, and significantly enhanced defenses including the addition of a bulletproof liner and explosive reactive armor. The ODS stands for "Operation Desert Storm," and it is an improved version based on lessons learned from the Gulf War. 1,423 vehicles were upgraded to the ODS and entered service in 1996. The M2A2 ODS-SA (Situation Awareness) is a type that has undergone similar improvements to the M2A3, such as full digitalization to improve target acquisition and fire control capabilities, or upgrades to electronic equipment, except for the absence of an independent rotating video camera for the commander. The United States decided to supply approximately 200 M2A2 ODS-SA Bradleys to Ukraine, and many of the delivered vehicles are in operation with the 47th Independent Mechanized Brigade. Although many vehicles were destroyed after being deployed to the front lines, the crew survival rate was high, and many of them could be recovered and repaired, demonstrating the vehicle's high level of survivability.
