Centurion Action X
The Action X was a vehicle proposed as an improved version of the Centurion. It was designed to mount a turret without a gun shield (mantletless turret) on the Centurion Mk.VII chassis. It never actually went into mass production, and only the turret was prototyped. Three prototype turrets were manufactured, two of which were mounted on Centurion chassis and used for firing tests. One was destroyed, one went missing, and only the one that was not used for firing tests is on outdoor display at the British Tank Museum.
