〇RU251
The RU251 was a reconnaissance tank developed by Hanomag as a successor to the M41 Walker Bulldog deployed in the German Federal Army. Based on the Kanonenjagdpanzer, it was designed with an emphasis on firepower and mobility, and was equipped with a Rheinmetall BK 90/L40 90mm tank gun, capable of traveling at speeds of over 80 km/h. A prototype was completed in 1963, but mass production did not occur because the production system for the Leopard, which had a more powerful 105mm gun, was established.
