■ Description
The Soviet JS3, which emerged at the end of World War II, shocked Britain as well. The British counterattack was this FV4005 Stage 2, which used centurion carriages equipped with 183mm guns.
The gigantic cannon tower's armour was 14 mm, and it could rotate 90 degrees or so, with ammunition in 12 rounds, and a large door at the rear of the tower as a means of loading and escorting large ammunition.
The prototype was completed and then discontinued, and it's still on display at the Binton Tank Museum.
