■Product Description
〇L-class and M-class destroyers
The L-class and M-class destroyers were destroyers of the British Royal Navy. A total of 16 ships were built and launched between 1939 and 1942. The 4.7-inch twin guns, developed to enhance the firepower of destroyers, were heavier than the main guns of previous destroyers, requiring larger ships to carry them. Therefore, the L-class destroyers were planned as an enlarged version of the J-class from the previous year's plan. The M-class, to which Martin belonged, was a class of ships that underwent the modifications that were applied to the L-class after the start of World War II, and thus shared a common basic structure.
