〇Battlecruiser Hood
The Hood was a battlecruiser of the British Royal Navy. Launched on August 22, 1918, it was nicknamed "Mighty Hood" by the British people. It served as the flagship of the Special Task Force's round-the-world voyage from 1923 to 1924, and the name Hood became known all over the world. However, its imposing appearance became obsolete by the time World War II broke out. A major refit was planned for the Hood before the war, but it was postponed due to cost issues and was never carried out before the war began. Then, on May 24, 1941, the Hood was hit by gunfire from the battleship Bismarck, exploded, and sank to the bottom of the Denmark Strait.
