■Product Description
Developed by Short Aircraft Company of the UK in the early 1960s, this squat, general-purpose transport aircraft was highly regarded for its short take-off and landing capabilities and high payload capacity thanks to its boxy fuselage, and was operated by civilians and military forces in various countries. In Japan, it was also operated by the Japan Coast Guard in the past. This kit, first published in 1974, realistically reproduces the distinctive appearance of this aircraft. The interior can be selected between a passenger version and a military bench seat version. Two types of decals are included. This is the first re-release in 24 years.
