■Product Description
The Mamiya was the first full-fledged large-scale food supply ship of the Imperial Japanese Navy, completed in 1924, with the capability to accompany the fleet. Equipped with refrigeration and freezing facilities on board, it was capable of storing fresh food and processing meat, as well as manufacturing luxury goods such as ice cream and yokan (sweet bean jelly). As the unsung hero supporting the fleet, it operated without rest from before the war through the war, continuously supporting the meals of the crew.
