■Product Description
The Reimei-class is the largest patrol vessel of the Japan Coast Guard, having entered service as an improved version of the previous Akitsushima-class, equipped with one helicopter. Built as part of efforts to strengthen territorial waters security, this class is capable of long-term operations in vast ocean areas. The first ship, Reimei, entered service in February 2020 and is assigned to the Kagoshima Coast Guard Office.
The conventional "Reimei" plastic model had a parts configuration with three colors: hull color (white), deck color (green), and bottom color (red), but in the white molded version, the deck and superstructure runners are also molded in white.
*The ship parts are molded in the bottom color (red), and the base parts are molded in black.
