■Product Description
The "Haruna" was commissioned in 1973 as the first helicopter-carrying destroyer (DDH) of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. Along with its sister ship "Hiei" and two improved "Shirane" class ships, it was operated for a long period of time. Subsequently, with the commissioning of the "Hyuga" class ships with full flight decks, it was decommissioned in 2009.
