1/700 US Navy Aircraft Carrier CV-3 Saratoga 1936

$55.00
■Product Description
The USS Saratoga was laid down in September 1920 as a battlecruiser, but was converted into an aircraft carrier due to the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922, which limited the number of capital ships that could be held. It was the second ship of the Lexington-class aircraft carriers and entered service in November 1927. At the time of its commissioning, this class became the world's largest aircraft carrier, possessing high speed performance thanks to its long hull based on a battlecruiser and a powerful air force capable of carrying 90 aircraft, including those moored on the open deck.
