■Product Description
This is the lead ship of the Akizuki-class anti-aircraft destroyers, which were enlarged for direct anti-aircraft escort of aircraft carrier task forces and equipped with four twin 10cm high-angle guns that offered long cruising range and high speed and long range. Commissioned in 1942, it played an active role in the early stages of the war but was sunk in the Battle of Cape Engaño in 1944.
