■Product Description
The major restoration work that had been underway since fiscal year 2009 was completed, and Himeji Castle had its grand reopening in March 2015.
Doyusha has newly developed a Himeji Castle plastic model kit with a new design and new molds. The scale is 1/500, with approximately 160 parts, and the finished model dimensions are 265 x 205 x 120 mm. The large base reproduces the Bizenmaru area and realistically models the complex castle tower, which consists of the main keep and the three smaller keeps (east, west, and northwest) connected by connecting towers. The trees decorating the castle are made using molded parts, sponge, and powder. Includes one bag of sponge, one bag each of green and light green powder, and an easy-to-understand color instruction manual.
