■Product Description
The "Zuikaku" at the start of the Pacific War is now available in 1/350 scale!
(Structure and Specifications)
・The product is an unpainted kit that requires gluing, assembly, and painting.
・The scale is 1/350.
(Product Features)
・The model's appeal lies in its detailed sculpting and shape reproduction, which is unique to large-scale models.
・It is modeled after the Pearl Harbor attack that marked the start of the Pacific War and the period thereafter.
・Without radar or additional machine guns, it can be reproduced in a form close to its appearance at the time of completion.
・Unlike the 1944 specifications, the additional machine gun mounts at the bow and stern are not installed.
・The hull has a structure in which the port and starboard sides are one piece.
・The external electrical wiring installed in preparation for becoming a ship and the numerous portholes are reproduced with delicate engraving.
・The flight deck is a single molded part, with detailed carvings representing the wooden decking, anti-slip surfaces on the steel deck, and expansion joints.
・The girder structure on the underside of the flight deck is a separate part, giving it a three-dimensional appearance.
・Elevators and windbreaks are provided as separate parts.
・The edges of the flight deck feature a split pattern, expressed with delicate carvings.
・The anchor chain deck and boat deck feature a split pattern for anti-slip surfaces, expressed with delicate carvings.
・The smokestack is a two-part structure with upper and lower parts glued together, and the part division line is placed in a position that is not easily noticeable.
・The bridge anti-aircraft command post features separate binocular parts that enhance the sense of precision.
・Nine aircraft are included, with 3 each of the Zero Fighter Type 21, Dive Bomber Type 99, and Bomber Type 97, all molded in clear plastic.
• Arresting railings and arresting wires are included as dedicated photo-etched parts.
• Metal chain parts are included for the anchor chains at the bow and stern.
• Paper stickers are included for the signal flags and naval ensign.
