■Product Description
A 1/350 scale reproduction of the bridge of the Ise/Hyuga, which was converted into an aircraft carrier and equipped with Type 21/22 radar.
This product uses the mold of the existing 1/350 scale aircraft carrier Ise/Hyuga product.
You can build the bridge of either the Ise or Hyuga.
The product is modeled after Operation Sho-Go 1 in October 1944.
The main parts of the bridge are molded in gray, mimicking the Kure Naval Arsenal color.
Clear molded parts are provided for the bridge windows and searchlights.
A display stand and stickers with the ship names Ise and Hyuga are included.
The reproduction extends from the upper deck to the top Type 21 radar, and forward to the second turret connected to the shelter deck.
The reproduction extends to the central searchlight platform at the rear.
The bridge is assembled by stacking each level and adding pillars and ladders.
The shelter deck features delicate carvings to represent a wooden deck.
Air intakes, exhaust vents, and machine gun ammunition boxes on the wooden deck are separate parts, reducing the need for detailed painting.
The 25mm machine guns positioned on all four sides of the bridge are made of 4 parts each for the twin/triple mounts, a feature unique to 1/350 scale, and the elevation angle can be adjusted.
The windows in the five locations of the compass bridge, observation command post, combat bridge, targeting station, and upper observation post are reproduced with clear parts.
Each level features carved details such as grating and linoleum fasteners.
Binocular telescope parts are provided to enhance the sense of detail in the targeting station and anti-aircraft command post.
Multiple ladders connecting each level are provided, all as separate parts. The molded parts consist of three colors: gray (Kure Naval Arsenal color), transparent, and black for the base parts. Two types of stickers are included. Paper stickers featuring signal flags and other designs are included. A sticker with the ship's name to be attached to the display stand after completion is also included.
