■Product Description
The Hiei from the Third Battle of Solomon Islands, complete with photo-etched parts, is back in stock! !
The product is modeled after the ship's appearance from after its refit in 1940 until the Third Battle of Solomon Islands.
The distinctive bridge shape, which served as a testbed for the Yamato, is accurately reproduced in three dimensions.
The curved shape of the bow reproduces the modification made only to the Hiei to improve its wave-cutting performance.
The hull bottom and hull parts are designed to be separate, allowing you to choose between a waterline model and a full-hull model.
The molded colors are gray to reproduce the Kure Naval Arsenal color for the fleet, light beige for the wooden deck, dark brown for the linoleum deck, and black for the top of the smokestack.
The decals include pre-cut gun barrel waterproof cloth, warship markings, and emergency material wood. It is designed to easily express the colors of the details.
The decals include bonus items such as the anti-aircraft identification Hinomaru on the turret during the Battle of Midway, and the Vice Admiral's flag (no cutouts).
Etched parts are included to express details that are difficult to reproduce with injection molded parts.
The etched parts include railings, steps, watertight doors, boat davits, flight deck, catapult, crane, additions around the funnel, gangway, truss, loop antenna, etc.
