■Product Description
The Ship NEXT series light cruiser Tama, from the 1944 Operation Sho-Go, is now available with photo-etched parts!
The product is modeled after the appearance of the ship during Operation Sho-Go in October 1944.
The horizontally laid linoleum deck, which differs from that of the Kuma, is accurately reproduced.
The openings of the aft torpedo tubes are covered with canvas, and dedicated parts are included to reproduce the closed state.
The top of the funnel is molded in black, giving it a realistic "hollow" appearance. The funnel is the slender type of the Kuma class and is reproduced with dedicated parts.
Photo-etched parts are included to express even the smallest details that are difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts.
Photo-etched parts include hose reels, searchlight platforms, handrails, Type 21 radar, ladders, etc.
The product is designed as a snap-fit type that does not require glue.
Major parts are represented with pre-colored plastic parts, and some colored parts are reproduced with realistic stickers that have excellent surface conformability.
The assembly method is entirely snap-fit, and by dividing the parts at the waterline, both waterline and full-hull types can be built.
