■Product Description
Ship NEXT Series Light Cruiser Kuma Appears in 1942 with Etched Parts!
The product is modeled after the appearance of the ship in the latter half of 1942, before the anti-aircraft armament was strengthened.
Special parts are included to reproduce the state in which the openings of the aft torpedo tubes are covered with canvas and closed.
Unlike the horizontal linoleum decks of typical ships, the Kuma's unique vertical linoleum is reproduced with special parts.
Etched parts are included to express even the smallest details that are difficult to reproduce with injection molded parts.
Etched parts include funnel caps (mesh type), railings, seaplane recovery derricks, navigation lights, ladders, etc.
The product is designed as a snap-fit type that does not require glue.
Major parts are represented with pre-colored plastic parts, and some colored parts are reproduced with realistic stickers that have excellent surface conformability.
The assembly method is entirely snap-fit, and by dividing the parts at the waterline, both waterline and full-hull types can be built.
