■Product Description
The display stand for the Battleship Yamato in the Ship NEXT series has been redesigned!
The shape has been revised and the new design provides improved stability!
The first ship of the Yamato-class battleships, "Yamato," was completed in December 1941 as the culmination of large ship construction technology from the Kongo-class to the Nagato-class.
The product is modeled after the "Battle of Leyte Gulf" when it sortied to defend the Philippines along with the second ship, "Musashi."
The mounting area for the No. 22 radar on the side of the bridge is reproduced as it was before it was moved.
The anti-aircraft command post is equipped with a binocular telescope as a bonus part.
The machine gun firing system in front of the funnel is depicted as it was before it was added.
The jib crane/antenna support at the stern, which was removed in the final configuration, is reproduced in the correct shape, different from that of the Musashi.
The aircraft work deck and the wooden deck in the center of the ship are made of dedicated parts.
Two secondary guns have been removed and six 12.7 cm high-angle guns have been installed.
The hull parts are of the closed porthole type, and dedicated parts have been prepared.
A Vice Admiral flag indicating that Commander-in-Chief Kurita was on board is included.
Parts with Type 13 radar are included.
The base has been newly renewed! It can be turned over and used as a parts holder during assembly.
Limited to the first lot!
The display stand comes with a strip pattern/wooden deck pattern and a version with mechanical surface carvings.
The Ship NEXT series is a plastic kit that makes ship models easier to build while achieving a realistic finish.
◆No painting is required as each part is molded in different colors.
◆A division method is adopted that makes the joints of the parts less noticeable.
◆Snap-fit design that does not require glue.
◆Stickers are included to reproduce the color separation of fine details.
◆By removing the part below the waterline, you can recreate a waterline model.
