■Product Description
The Imperial Japanese Navy series "Japanese Navy Heavy Cruiser Myoko" now comes with photo-etched parts!
The product allows you to choose from the appearance of the Myoko-class lead ship "Myoko" at the start of the war (1941-), during the Battle of the Philippine Sea (1943-1944), and during the Battle of Leyte Gulf (October 1944).
The hull is a one-piece structure with the port and starboard sides molded as one piece, allowing for a more stable shape to assemble compared to a two-piece assembly.
The upper deck is a single piece, with the forward and shelter deck sections being separate parts, and the aft section being integrated with the hull.
The decals include markings for the naval ensign and carrier-based aircraft.
The photo-etched parts allow for detailed expression that is difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts. They are useful for more advanced detailing.
The photo-etched parts include handrails in various locations, external electrical conduits, ladders, watertight doors, boat davits, cranes, catapults, turret heat sinks, gangways, funnel areas, jackstays, mast yards, loop antennas, lighting base trusses, anti-slip treatment for gun mounts, gun mount sponsons, Type 2 Model 1 radar, Type 1 Model 3 radar, single machine guns, bases, runways, aircraft transport trolleys, reels, and more.
The product is a full-hull specification that can reproduce the bottom of the ship, and comes with a base that can be displayed after completion.
The 25mm twin machine guns include both the conventional one-piece structure parts and more precise two-piece parts.
The 25mm machine guns are made of two pieces, making it easy to reproduce the gunmetal of the barrel and the hull color of the base.
