■Product Description
The product is a full-hull model that can be reproduced down to the bottom of the ship, and comes with a display stand that can be enjoyed after completion.
The instruction manual has been renewed to be easier to read and understand.
The molded parts of the hull are light green to take into consideration the color development of the No. 22 paint on the outer hull.
The retractable No. 21 radar and the two retractable searchlights on the flight deck can be displayed in either the retracted or deployed state.
Although the flight deck is painted with latex, which can often be monotonous, the design is rich in detail with various sculptural expressions such as eyelets for aircraft mooring, arresting ropes, and expansion joints.
Two different years can be selected for construction. The machine gun mounts, rocket launchers and sponsons that were added later are separate parts, and two forms, the time of completion and the final form, can be reproduced.
Camouflage decals are included so that the appearance with camouflage paint on the flight deck can be easily reproduced.
A variety of carrier-based aircraft are included.
・The carrier-based aircraft are four types owned by the 601st Air Group, which existed as a carrier-based unit after the ship's completion: "Zero Fighter Type 52," "Zero Fighter Type 21 with bombs," "Suisei," and "Tenzan."
・The "Ohka" suicide attack aircraft, which was loaded in the hangar during the transport operation at the time of the sinking, is included.
The 25mm twin machine guns include both the conventional one-piece structure part and a more precise two-piece part.
