■Product Description
The product is modeled after the ship's appearance at the start of the war, before it was converted into an aircraft carrier. The hull is divided into left and right halves, and it is a waterline model up to the waterline. The "main gun roof," "upper part of the bridge," and "cross tree on the aft mast" are different from those of the Ise and come with newly made dedicated parts. The differences in the shape of the secondary gun command post and the size of the canopy on the battle bridge are also reproduced with different parts from the Ise. Slide molding is used to reproduce the open shape of the structures below the bridge and the muzzles of the 36cm main guns. Three Type 95 seaplanes are included as carrier-based aircraft.
Of the 12 battleships that played an active role in the Pacific War, the long-awaited "Hyuga, the second ship of the Ise-class battleships" in the Special Series is finally on sale! This is a 1/700 scale ship model assembled with a precise parts configuration. The product is modeled after the ship's appearance at the start of the war, from 1941 to the beginning of 1942, before it was converted into an aircraft carrier. The hull is split into left and right halves, and the model is a waterline model up to the waterline. The "main gun roof," "upper part of the bridge," and "cross tree on the aft mast" differ from the lead ship Ise, and new, dedicated parts are included. The differences in the shape of the secondary gun command post and the size of the canopy on the battle bridge are also reproduced with different parts from the Ise. The lookout post near the machine guns on the bridge was raised in height by 400 mm during the 1941 refit, and this minute detail is represented by a separate part. Slide molding is used to reproduce the open shape of the muzzle of the 36 cm main gun. Slide molding is also used for the structures below the bridge. Three Type 95 seaplanes are included as aircraft.
