■Product Description
The Akagi, the flagship of the Nagumo Task Force that supported the rapid advances in the early stages of the Pacific War, is now available in highly detailed molded parts!

(Structure, Specifications, Features) ・The hull has a structure in which the port and starboard sides are one piece. ・The sloping shape towards the rear of the ship, the numerous portholes, and the complex shape of the hangar side walls are all expressed with a single molded part. ・The flight deck is a single piece structure with delicate wooden decking, windbreaks, expansion joints, and other sculpted details.
・The part where the flight deck at the rear of the ship becomes double-layered is reproduced with the lower layer as a separate part.
・The elevators are separate parts.

・The anchor chain deck and boat deck are expressed with delicate sculpting, including anti-slip split patterns and rails.
・The smokestack is a two-part structure with upper and lower parts glued together.
・The strip patterns on the floor, such as the anti-aircraft gun mounts, are expressed with fine sculpting.
・The truss columns of the flight deck supports (rear) are sculpted on all four sides.
・The main parts, hull bottom plate, machine gun parts, etc. are molded in gray.

・Three types of decals are included.
・One sheet of decals for aircraft markings is included.
・Two sheets of decals are included for the ship name at the stern and the white lines on the deck supports.
・One sheet of decals is included that includes flight deck markings, the naval ensign, and the flight deck/friendly identification mark (Rising Sun) from Operation MI in June 1942.
