The battleship Yamato, a symbol of the Combined Fleet, is back with added armament and rigging parts and modified specifications!
This product is an unpainted kit that requires gluing, assembly, and painting.
The scale is 1/700, and it is a waterline model that does not include the bottom of the hull.
This product is made up of the conventional (Special Series) molds and newly designed additional parts.
●The product is modeled after the Yamato-class battleship No. 1, "Yamato," as it appeared in October 1944, during Operation Sho-Go 1 (Battle of Leyte Gulf).
・The secondary guns on both the port and starboard sides have been removed, and the 12.7 cm twin anti-aircraft guns have been added, and radar has been installed, representing its appearance after the refit.
Newly designed parts have been prepared to unify the degree of reproduction of equipment etc. depending on the product release date, and some parts have been divided to take painting work into consideration.
・The 12.7cm twin high-angle gun A1 Kai 3 is subdivided into a total of 4 parts, improving the molding resolution from the existing 2 parts.

・A new chrysanthemum emblem for the bow has been prepared.
・New navigation lights have been prepared for additional representation in parts that were previously omitted.
・New lifebuoys have been prepared for additional representation in parts that were previously omitted.
・Added decals for the ship's name on the stern (in a solid battleship gray color) and white lines on the mast.
・Separate parts for the binoculars to enhance the sense of detail are included for the bridge/anti-aircraft command post.
・Includes two types of aircraft: the Type 0 Reconnaissance Seaplane and the Type 0 Observation Seaplane (different molded parts from the previously included parts).
・Includes a 2-piece triple machine gun (without shield) that is precise and easy to paint.
・Includes 26 single machine guns that were omitted in existing products.
・The hull is a single molded part with the port and starboard sides and wooden deck sections as one piece.
・The portholes, a characteristic of the later stages of the war, are represented with raised molding to show their closed state.
・The bow section and aircraft work deck are provided as separate parts.
・The bridge and funnel are made of two halves joined together.
・The ladder on the back of the bridge has a different shape from the second ship, "Musashi," and is reproduced with dedicated parts.
・The 15-meter rangefinder at the top of the bridge is designed to rotate 360 degrees even after completion.
・The 46 cm main gun turrets are designed to rotate even after completion.
・The main guns have the barrel and canvas as one piece, and the elevation angle is fixed at the locking position.

・The anchor chain deck and stern deck have delicate split patterns (anti-slip patterns) reproduced with engraving.

・The molded color is gray for the main parts, hull bottom plate, carrier-based aircraft, etc.

・One sheet of decals including the naval ensign and the Japanese flag markings.
・Three sizes of naval ensigns, etc. are provided. The dimensions of the actual 10-width, 6-width, and 3-width ensigns are included in 1/700 scale.
・One sheet of decals including the draft markings, the chrysanthemum emblem on the bow, and the ship's name on the stern (two types: gold and solid naval gray).
