■Product Description
The "Nagato," a symbol of the Combined Fleet, is meticulously reproduced in its appearance during the Battle of Leyte Gulf with newly added parts!

●The product is modeled after the first ship of the Nagato-class battleships, "Nagato," from Operation Sho-Go No. 1 in October 1944 to its final appearance.
・Equipped with a Type 21 radar on top of the bridge, two Type 13 radars on the mast, and numerous 25mm machine guns on the upper deck.

Newly designed parts have been prepared to unify the degree of reproduction of equipment etc. depending on the product release date, and some parts are divided to take painting work into consideration.
・The Type 13 radar is a newly enclosed part with engraved truss structure and shape representation of the antenna part.
・The Type 21 radar is expressed with more delicate engraving than conventional included parts, such as the base of the insulator for fixing the element on the front side.
・The Type 22 radar is made into a part in the open state by using a slide mold, and it is also possible to make it into a shape with an extended trumpet shape.
・The 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft gun A1 is subdivided into 4 parts, increasing the level of detail compared to the existing 2-part version.
・The 9-meter cutter is made into 2 parts for easier painting, and the mount is a separate part, allowing for a choice between a single-piece deck molding or this option. (Except for some areas)
・The 11-meter motorboat has separate canvas and wheelhouse/engine room canopies for easier painting. Each part is painted and then assembled and glued.
・The ship's boat mount features molded details such as indentations and lightening holes, resulting in a more precise and detailed design.
・A new chrysanthemum emblem is provided for the bow. ・New navigation lights are provided for additional detail in areas that were previously omitted.
・Decals for the ship's name on the stern (in a solid battleship gray color) and white lines on the mast have been added.
・The Type 96 25mm twin machine gun now comes standard with a 2-part configuration to reduce painting/color separation work.

・The hull is a single-piece molded part with the port and starboard sides made of one piece each.
・The sides feature intricately carved external electrical conduits around the entire hull.
・The upper deck is a single-piece structure with delicate carvings of a wooden deck.
・The bridge base (bridge deck) is a single-piece structure part made using a slide mold.
・The bridge is assembled by stacking each layer, and the floor surface reproduces details such as grating.
・Each layer of the bridge also includes parts for detailed equipment, including binoculars.
・Includes sandbags to protect the area around the 25mm machine guns added to the deck, and parts for all signal receivers installed on the bridge.
・The secondary gun reserve command post, which is a distinguishing feature from the second ship Mutsu, is reproduced with two windows using dedicated parts.
・The linoleum flooring on the aircraft handling deck is provided as a separate part from the upper deck.
・The chimney is a two-part structure with left and right sides glued together, and the steam exhaust pipe is a separate part.
・The strip pattern on the floor, such as the high-angle gun mounts, is expressed with fine engraving.
・The funnel caps are in a hollow state, giving a highly detailed appearance.
・The main guns have the barrel and canvas as one piece, and the elevation angle is fixed.
・The main gun barrels are in an open form using slide molding.
・The crosstree on the aft mast is a single molded part for ease of assembly.
・Two Zero-type seaplanes are included, and the molded color is gray.
・The 25mm machine guns are a two-part structure with precise molding and an easy-to-paint design, and the 2018 molded parts are included as standard.
・The machine gun mounts added to the roofs of the No. 2 and No. 3 main guns are reproduced with dedicated parts.
・The molded color is gray for the main parts, hull bottom plate, aircraft, and machine gun parts.

The product is an unpainted kit that requires gluing, assembly, and painting.
The scale is 1/700, and it is a waterline model that does not include the hull bottom.
The product is made up of conventional (Special Series) molds and newly designed additional parts.

●Two types of decals are included
・Decals that include the naval ensign, the Japanese flag, and markings for carrier-based aircraft.
・Three sizes of naval ensigns, etc. are provided. The dimensions of the actual 10 width, 6 width, and 3 width are included in 1/700 scale.
・Includes the Hinomaru (Japanese national flag) and friendly identification stripes (yellow stripes) for carrier-based aircraft, and the Hinomaru also includes the late-war version without the white border.
