■Product Description
The Chibi Maru Kongo as it appeared during the Battle of Leyte Gulf, equipped with the Type 21 radar, is now available with photo-etched parts!
The Chibi Maru Fleet series is a cute plastic model kit with a deformed ship hull.
Compared to conventional ship models, it has fewer parts and is easy to assemble, so it can be enjoyed by both adults and children.
◆Snap-on kit, no glue required.
◆Multi-color molding eliminates the need for painting.
◆The wooden deck and other parts can be colored by applying stickers, giving it a good look and a sense of precision even without painting.
The product is modeled after the Kongo as it appeared equipped with the Type 21 radar during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944.
The differences in shape from its sister ships Hiei and Kirishima are also reproduced.
The stickers include a wooden deck with a realistic wood grain pattern, the Type 21 radar, emergency rudder, waterproof cloth, and boat canvas.
Includes a dedicated name sticker.
Can be used with the separately sold dedicated stand for even more enjoyment.
The delicate ship's rigging, which cannot be fully expressed with injection molded parts, is reproduced with etched parts.
The etched parts include railings, Type 21 radar, funnel caps, bulletproof plates, etc.
