■Product Description
This 1/48 scale kit recreates the VF-1J piloted by Hikaru Ichijo in the first half of the TV series "Super Dimension Fortress Macross".
Based on the 1/72 scale, this is the definitive "VF-1 aircraft" with proportion adjustments and detailed expressions unique to 1/48 scale!
The number of parts has not been unnecessarily increased, resulting in a volume that allows for relatively easy assembly and allows for detailed painting.
Large interlocking joints have been provided for the fixing parts of key components such as the fuselage, intake block, and engine block to ensure stable assembly.
The cockpit reproduces the design from the TV series.
Two types of canopies with different cross-sectional shapes are included.
You can choose between a type without a parting line in the center and a type that reproduces the Ω-shaped cross-section characteristic of aircraft.
The head can be selected between the J-type and A-type. Gun pods are included as armament.
The air brakes can be selected to be open or closed.
One seated pilot figure (suit from the TV version) is included.
The main wings move in conjunction with each other. The vector nozzles are movable.
For ease of assembly, it is designed so that the engine block can be assembled after painting.
As an added bonus unique to the 1/48 scale, the outer cover of the engine block is a separate part, and the engine inside is sculpted.
