From Shigeno Shuichi's coming-of-age motorcycle manga "Baribari Densetsu," which depicts a high school rider entering the world of racing and challenging the Road Racing World Championship,
the NSR500 (1989 model) of the main character "Gun," or Gun Koma, has been made into a kit!
Gun (known as GUN-BOY overseas) who is challenging the world,
has a fierce battle with Ralph's YZR500 with the new machine he has been riding since the 7th round of the WGP, the British GP,
and faces the fateful final lap at the final round, the Japanese GP.
